Natural teak root sculpture brings inviting texture and warmth into any space. Repurposed teak root, excavated for reforestation efforts, is hand-selected by skilled artisans in Indonesia who "read the root" before carving it into a gracefully tapered sculpture. Each piece is kiln-dried for 30–45 days, then sanded and painted by hand to create a one-of-a-kind sculpture that highlights the natural knots and cavities of the wood. No two will be exactly alike. CB2 exclusive.Handcrafted. Solid teak root with top coat. Botanicals not included. Due to natural oil within teak, the hand-painted white finish will take on an ivory hue over time. Reclaimed teak root is carefully selected and carved to highlight any natural cavities or erosion; each will be unique. Characteristics of wood include variation in tone, natural knots and markings. Made in Indonesia.
